Nika Shakarami, an adolescent girl, was tortured and brutally killed by the Islamic Republic regime. She joined the Mahsa Amini protests on 20th Sep. After eight days of disappearance, her dead body was delivered to her family. But the security forces stole her body quickly while her nose was fully smashed and there was a cut from her chest to her stomach. They blocked the funeral and buried her body in a village 25 miles away from her hometown overnight without her family's notice.
Before Nika's burial, the security forces kidnapped Nika's aunt and uncle because they spoke up about Nika's detention and murder. At the moment, Nika's family has been threatened to take delivery of the dead bodies of Nika's aunt and uncle unless they confess that the security forces are not responsible
